Baldur's Gate Enhanced Edition Newbie and Console Players Guide

Hello and welcome to Lord Fenton Gaming plays Baldur's Gate Enhanced Edition, I am your host Lord Fenton. In today's Don't Panic Guide, the game I am going to give pointers to is Baldur's Gate Enhanced Edition. Baldur's Gate EE is an Isometric RPG game. It's in the Forgotten Realms world that the ruleset is backed on Dungeons and Dragons aka DnD. This edition of the ruleset is the Advanced Dungeons and Dragons 2.0. Yes that is right 2.0 and there is a great debate between 2.0 and 3.0 on which is better. Still this video will guide you on races and classes, skills, UI and some pointers towards the end of the video. This is a wonderful game and it is coming to consoles. I am not only guiding new players also I am guiding console players who never touch the game before and wanted to experience a true Bioware classic that got enhanced by Beamdog. So sit back, enjoy the guide, hit that like button, comment and Subscribe to my channel.

I'll give you even more tips here. Sleep is IMPORTANT. If you do not sleep you will get worn out and take stat hits. The Sun, Moon and Gears is your pause button. Use it to think things over than react. Arcane magic aka spells that mages and sorcerer uses CAN NOT use armor. So go cloth or elven chain mail OTHERWISE no arcane magic for you.

BALDUR'S GATE 2 Shouldn't Be Played Like This

What a classic, Baldur's Gate is amazing. Teenage me spend at least 200 hours playing this. (Before girls were discovered) Anyway, it's totally broken, thanks Bioware for making this totally balanced.

Planescape Torment Enhanced Edition Getting Started Guide

Welcome to this Getting Started Guide for Planescape Torment Enhanced Edition! Today I give you a few basic starter tips for the game, things that will ease the transition from normal rpgs into Planescape Torment. The tips covers overarching things, and the video contains no major spoilers.

Planescape Torment Enhanced Edition is very different from most other roleplaying games in some major respects: It's incredibly dialogue heavy, many (good) dialogue options are gated behind ability scores, the game frequently presents puzzles that seems to be one thing but that is in fact another, and magical items in the game often appear mundane and are different from classic dungeons and dragons items.

Planescape Torment Enhanced Edition is a technically updated version of the original Planescape Torment, while the story remains the same. There are innumerable bug fixes though, as well as enhanced graphics, new shiny features such as zoom and more enhancements like that. Now the game is available both for PC, and for tablets, which is great for casual play. This first look at enhanced edition planescape uses the pc version though.

Enhanced Edition Planescape: Torment is primarily story-driven and combat is not prominently featured. The protagonist, known as The Nameless One, is an immortal who has lived many lives but has forgotten all about them, even forgetting his own name. Enhanced Edition Planescape focuses on his journey through the city of Sigil and other planes to reclaim his memories of these previous lives. Several characters in the game may join The Nameless One on his journey, and most of these characters have encountered him in the past or have been influenced by his actions in some way.

The original Planescape Torment was made by BioWare in 1999, and had only moderate comercial success. The game itself however was, in my opinion, the peak of BioWare’s Advanced Dungeons and Dragons series. Following the success of Baldur’s Gate Enhanced edition Beamdog have gone and updated Planescape Torment as well, and now, 18 years after the original release, we have Planescape Torment Enhanced Edition in our hands, which feels truly exciting to me.

In your search for answers, you'll find companions matching the bizarre nature of the planes: a chaste succubus who can kill with a kiss, a confused crossbow-wielding cube, a suit of armor animated by a spirit demanding JUSTICE, and more. With these companions and others at The Nameless One’s side, you will explore worlds in search of answers, all to discover that some destinies cannot be escaped and some memories cost more than an even an immortal can bear.

Old man Daegon saves the world from a nasty necromancer in 4 minutes! Here is his video commentary on this video!

Could be around 20 seconds faster with better luck and execution. Done with the high resolution patch (and without the Unofficial Arcanum Patch) mostly due to the game being difficult to control at its default resolution stretched over a 1080p screen, and due to mouse DPI issues. Some will likely consider the run illegitimate due to this, although the strategies shown work on any version of the game.

Sensational - Episode 61- Planescape Torment: Enhanced Edition old school rpg

I'm a huge fan of old school RPGs, I didn't play this one first time around but I'm making up for that now.

I'm just a guy that likes to play games and tell stories. I like to give background to characters beyond what is provided by games and weave a narrative around that.

It often ends up in weird and sometimes interesting places. No one knows where this flight of imagination will take us, not even me. But why not join me for the ride?

Let’s Play BG2 EE #18: Always Bet on Edwin

Apologies for the run time of this video being a little shorter than normal. Some of the video for the demo of scribing spell scrolls had to be scrapped because of it becoming garbled.

If there’s two things you can rely on in the Forgotten Realms, it’s that there’s always a threat looming on the horizon that’ll end the whole world unless some heroes rise up to stop it and that Edwin will always seek to be on the winning side of any situation. Self-serving to a fault, he’s a man driven to gain power, knowledge and wealth all for himself. His ultimate goal is to become an all-powerful and unstoppable leader, a position where his self-proclaimed mastery of the arcane can be used in the best way possible, to benefit himself.

What this means for us that if Mae’Var has plans to overthrow Renal and it doesn’t look like he’s going to be able to pull them off, you can count on Edwin going turncoat faster then you can fire off a magic missile and what better way to show he’s no longer associated with the man then to travel with us? The party could certainly use a wizard and Edwin could certainly use some people to interpose between him and danger, so it’s a win-win for both parties. All we need to do is secure the evidence we need and the services of Edwin will be secured once more for as he deems our presence useful.
