Thimbleweed Park Review

Thimbleweed Park is a time capsule adventure game, buried in 1987 and unearthed in 2017. And a great one at that.

The year is 1988. Adventure game developer Delores Edmund, on hiatus from her job at MMucasFlem Games, has returned to Thimbleweed Park for a quick vacation. While she’s home, she’s making some extra money as a photographer for the Thimbleweed Nickel News. Hey, game developers need to eat, too!

Thimbleweed Park hasn’t changed at all in the year since Delores has been away… or has it?

…Since when is the S&D Diner a five-star establishment?
…When did the PillowBear™ become all the rage?
…Why is Ransome the Clown suddenly winning humanitarian awards?
…How come no one seems to remember that dead body that turned up under the bridge a year ago?
…Can Thimbleweed Park get any stranger?!.

In a town like Thimbleweed Park, a side career in photojournalism is the least of your problems...

Delores: A Thimbleweed Park Mini-Adventure started out as a prototype for Ron Gilbert’s new point-and-click adventure game engine and grew into a fun little game. Thimbleweed Park for Nintendo Switch Review - Should YOU Buy It? | 8-Bit Eric

This is a review of Thimbleweed Park for the Nintendo Switch by 8-Bit Eric. Thimbleweed Park is in many ways a spiritual successor to games like Maniac Mansion and Monkey Island. The story begins with a murder in the small town of Thimbleweed Park, two FBI detectives, Antonio Reyes and Angela Ray, are tasked with investigating a murder. In Thimbleweed Park, you meet wacky townspeople and solve fiendishly clever puzzles. The game is divided into acts, each act triggering after a specific event. After each act change, new locations open, it adds the other playable characters -- an insult comic clown, a budding game developer and a ghost. Thimbleweed Park gives two difficulty levels at its outset -- Casual and Hard -- that determine how complicated the puzzles are.

Thimbleweed Park coming to Xbox One

Thimbleweed Park is a classic point & click adventure from the creators of Maniac Mansion and Monkey Island
that takes you on a nostalgic journey to a strange town lost at the end of a dusty stretch of highway. Switch
between five playable characters while uncovering the dark, satirical and bizarre world of Thimbleweed Park, a
town where everyone seems to be hiding something and a dead body is the least of their problems

HEY that's not nice of you to say | Thimbleweed Park Episode 10 let's play hard mode

Welcome back to thimbleweed park episode 10 let's play hard mode. Thimbleweed Park is a point-and-click adventure game that introduces a mystery in a small county of 80 people by Terrible Toybox.

We should have expected it. Ransome is here and back with his really old school jokes. It's episode 10 of the thimbleweed park playthrough, and this time, the jokes don't get better. We joined the Ransome lookalike contest, and managed to walk away with a nice record as prize. Following that exciting thimbleweed park let's play of his odd jokes, we talk to Vergil, who secretly tells us of a way to exit the hotel. Lastly, we finish off with a chat with the mysterious pizza boy Chet, and the serious and confidential bank guy.

In this week's thimbleweed park gameplay, we don't solve too many puzzles, and instead had a great deal of conversations. I was frequently stuck and a lot of the video was struck off. So if it was too short for your taste, I'm sorry guys. I didn't want to bore you with the running around. Anywho, the main puzzle we solved is the whereabouts of the mysterious book that will free Franklin from the chains of the hotel.

Puzzles solved this week : franklin's book and lots of talking

Hope you guys have a nice one :D
