Top 15 Point & Click Adventure Games (Classic & New)

Sorry for the volume, the first few entries I totally messed up the mic but I fixed it for the last 7 entries (at 6:39) (also got a new mic since then)--

--UPDATE (12/30/12)--
Some have asked about certain games, most of you have inquired about games I never got the chance to play (Gabriel Knight, Discworld, Toonstruck, etc.) I apologize for not including them, but if I didn't play it I couldn't rate it.

A few other games worth saying something about:

- The Dig - Great setting and characters, tough puzzles 6/10
- A Whispered World - Beautiful animation, annoying voices 5/10
- Deponia - Beautiful Animation, again, annoying voices, terrible characters 5.5/10
- Full Throttle - Classic Lucas, but much too short 6.5/10
- Hugo's Trilogy - Classic but unforgiving, esp. in the wake of Lucas' games 4/10
- King Quest games - Great animation (for the time), unforgiving puzzles 5.5/10
- Yesterday - Creepy and satisfying, over before I knew it - 7/10
- Tales of Monkey Island - Crafty, but not as classy - 5.5/10

--ORIGINAL Description--
I take a gander at my top 15 favorite video game adventures on the computer.

Some of the most popular and respected games of our time are the classic adventure games of the 90's. Companies likes Sierra and Lucas Arts were the pioneers to develop point and click games like Monkey Island and King's Quest. Other companies took notice and turned the adventure genre into the most profitable for the pc. However, the advent of the next gen consoles saw a great decrease in adventure games, and a gradual recession occurred. Recently, however, German publishers have helped bring back the genre. Daedilic Entertainment, Wadjet Eye Games, and Tell Tale (along with Double Fine) have helped usher in a second coming of classic computer adventure games. This list commemorates point and click games both new and old. I hope you enjoy this list.

HEY that's not nice of you to say | Thimbleweed Park Episode 10 let's play hard mode

Welcome back to thimbleweed park episode 10 let's play hard mode. Thimbleweed Park is a point-and-click adventure game that introduces a mystery in a small county of 80 people by Terrible Toybox.

We should have expected it. Ransome is here and back with his really old school jokes. It's episode 10 of the thimbleweed park playthrough, and this time, the jokes don't get better. We joined the Ransome lookalike contest, and managed to walk away with a nice record as prize. Following that exciting thimbleweed park let's play of his odd jokes, we talk to Vergil, who secretly tells us of a way to exit the hotel. Lastly, we finish off with a chat with the mysterious pizza boy Chet, and the serious and confidential bank guy.

In this week's thimbleweed park gameplay, we don't solve too many puzzles, and instead had a great deal of conversations. I was frequently stuck and a lot of the video was struck off. So if it was too short for your taste, I'm sorry guys. I didn't want to bore you with the running around. Anywho, the main puzzle we solved is the whereabouts of the mysterious book that will free Franklin from the chains of the hotel.

Puzzles solved this week : franklin's book and lots of talking

Hope you guys have a nice one :D

Welcome back to part 23 of my blind let's play series of Thimbleweed Park. Thimbleweed Park is a brand new point and click adventure game released in 2017, created by Ron Gilbert and Gary Winnick (the team behind hit games Maniac Mansion & The Secret of Monkey Island). Thimbleweed Park sees us play as several different characters; Agents Reyes and Ray of the FBI, Ransome the Clown, Franklin and Dolores. In Thimbleweed Park, we try to investigate and solve the murder of a German man named Boris but find there's a much deeper mystery at play when an old case once again rears its ugly head!

In this episode, we manage to successfully navigate the forest by using the nuclear waste in a puddle and following the luminous footprints to the secret bunker we read about on the pizza flyer! We find some sort of weird conspiracy meeting going on down there and get a goodie bag for our troubles! We also manage to decode Uncle Chuck's will from Hex into readable text using the computer in the room so we're almost ready to have it read if we can find a way into Chuck's tomb in the graveyard!! We then use the flower we've had in our items since the beginning of the game as the thing that smells nice to power up the book of the dead!
